via (myself): why no, I can’t draw. Yeah, I kinda suck at drawing characters looking like themselves, whoops.
I don’t really know what to do with my tumblr. Corey is kind of my alter ego.
These statements may or may not be related. Also: lol. I started this set of drawings two years ago.
So apparently Corey’s a girl (well… physically). And this is the first time I ever drew Nathaniel, whut. And nobody knows who these guys are, ololol, so (left to right): Corey (protagonist), Giselle (always v. important), Asher (disapproving big brother), Nathaniel (awesome).
Someday I’ll actually write this.
what artist influences do you see reflected in my drawings?

something i’ve been curious about. like i can spot them sometimes in other people’s art but i find myself hard to pin down, mostly because i rarely actively go THIS STYLE IS SO COOL I’M GOING TO ABSORB IT NOW. i think…
i’m really curious! Let me know! 😀
It was only a matter of time till I asked.
I’m kind of curious about this too! My style’s changed a lot.
Probably nobody is even going to answer this because either they don’t know or don’t care (which is fine!), but I am curious if anyone can spot my actual influences or if my style reminds people of someone I’ve never heard of or whatnot.
[translation-ish— disclaimer: translation is hard, and I am not good at it so I usually just kind of try to get the gist and call it good— if you want to let me know of better ways to translate something, feel free?]Yukito: This is my house! (My grandmother changed your clothes.)
Sakura’s thought bubble: Oh, right… my brother said Yukito is living with his grandfather and grandmother.Whenever I rewatch or reread this scene, it cracks me up, because (spoilers?) his grandparents don’t exist. But he doesn’t know this, so I wonder what he thinks happens, really. Does Yue take over and do things and he just assumes his grandparents did them when he wasn’t around? Because that is a fantastic image. But basically it means his “It’s okay, my grandmother changed you (so I wasn’t being a creep, I swear)” is actually totally untrue, because there are only two options there: him or Yue.
Now with ridiculous image:
Blame Nami for the apron.
I’m hilariously “homesick.”
